Our Governors
The Governors have a wide range of strategic duties and responsibilities, and meet regularly in full meetings and committees to carry them out. Full meetings are held each term to discuss issues relating to the running of the school. The Governing Body consists of Parent Governors, Staff Governors, Local Authority Governors and Co-opted Governors. Governors serve for a period of three or four years.
The Governing Body has a specific and strategic responsibility to review and oversee the development of the school and cover the following areas of successful school management:
- Finance and Personnel
- Development
- Premises
